GEOMYRA POLLARD DARES YOU:

I want to dare the listeners to curate a life that feels well-rounded. Take inventory of what you feel is missing. Take inventory of where you may lack joy and let’s make a plan to implement more of the good stuff, because life is too short. And as a result, you can start at any day to just have a fresh start and do more of what you want.

FAST FACTS ABOUT GEOMYRA POLLARD:

What’s your favorite tool in business?

Google calendar. I can’t do anything without it being on my calendar as we just talked about. I color coordinate everything. So a part of being well-rounded is to see the different colors related to the different areas of my life.

And if there are certain colors that are not on there, then I need to make some shifts and changes.

What’s your favorite creative pump-up jam?

If you look at my Spotify playlist, it is all over the place. There’s Beyonce and Drake, on some days it can be a Celine Dion on another day, it could have gospel music on a random Tuesday. It’s all over the place, but it just depends on my mood.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of your business?

Shop. I’m obsessed with handbags. I just love, love, love, all kind of handbags, any kind of bag. So my guilty pleasure is shopping online and window shopping.

What’s the best education you’ve learned from?

Other people. Just having conversations with other creatives, seeing what has worked for them, what hasn’t worked, talking to them about what coaches or programs they use.

If you communicate and you just ask the question straight up, you’ll be surprised how open people are because this industry can feel a little lonely, but if you see something on social, you like it, you see what they’re doing.

What is one daring leap you’ve taken in your business?

Going full time into a new, completely different space. When I decided to leave weddings, which felt comfortable, and start a whole new space of being a coach for other people, when people are like, “who do you think you are”? Coaching other people and just taking the leap of faith there. It was terrifying, but it was something I knew I was supposed to do.

What is one thing you feel like you’re really great at in your business?

Listening to my clients to see where they are, see where they are really struggling. They’ll come to me sometimes and say, “oh, I need to do this, this, this, this, and this in my business”. But then we’ll have deeper conversations about what’s happening in your life.

And that’s why my title is well-rounded life and biz coach, because if we can clean some things up there, then that means that they have more time and energy to pour into their business. So I listen to the things they say they’re struggling wit, and then from there we can just make a game plan to just attack and, and do better.

Where can our listeners find you?

Do you have any special announcements for our listeners?

Absolutely. I actually have two courses, one for systems in your business and then I have a course for systems in your home, which I think is where we should all start.

I will definitely leave a code for you all to share with your audience so they can check out the courses. But it has definitely been a game-changer for a lot of my clients because we got to start somewhere.
