What is your favorite tool in biz?

What’s your favorite wedding/creative pump up jam?
I’m somebody who listens to a lot of different music selections. I like John Mayer and I really like Joshua Radin. So things that are kind of more mellow are my jam. And then when I’m in the gym, or if I’m working out, obviously I listen to things that are a little more high beat. But if it were by choice, it’s slower music.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of your business?
I’m a snowboarder and in the summertime, truly I just love to be outside. I live in the mountains, so having the ability to be. Outside, oftentimes alone or driving around for hours. I am a gypsy at heart, so anything that allows me to wander.
What is one daring the leap you’ve taken in your business?
I would say probably giving up the blog was one of the biggest and most terrifying things I’ve ever done. Just saying no and letting go of a 10-year career that I had created and put blood, sweat and tears into, to essentially start over from the bottom up. That’s probably one of the scariest and probably bravest things that I’ve done.
What is one thing you feel like you’re really great at in your business?
Empowering women. For me, I look at my business as something for everybody else. I think that it’s that mentality and it’s that mindset that keeps me serving women to the best of my ability. I do this because I’m so impassioned by it, and it’s something that lives so deeply in my soul that it really doesn’t feel like work. I mean, I put a lot of hours in, but when I get the opportunity to teach and speak, that is the thing that I am the greatest at.

Do you have any special announcements / offers for our listeners?
Yeah, so I will be launching, Luminate Your Life. So right now we are in the beta testing phase. We are going to be launching in a few weeks, and it is a course to help creative women really step into their authentic selves and step into their power in life. It is a course that is going to help you rediscover who you are and allow you to bring the light back into the darkness to come from a place of wholeness so that when you are serving your clients and you are serving your community, you’re able to do it without giving up part of yourself.
