GABRIELLE HURWITZ DARES YOU:
Think about bringing on, or introducing clients with the concept of a bridal stylist. It doesn’t have to be me. There are plenty of talented women and men who do this, but just daring their clients to think about what that would mean for their wedding.
It’s not for everyone. I understand that, but I think the more we can introduce clients to it, the more it can become the norm. And I think it just elevates the wedding in general, it’s going to be a huge service for them and for you.

What’s your favorite tool in business?
I use InDesign all the time to put together mood boards to put together.
What’s your favorite wedding/creative pump up jam?
If I need to get in a good mindset, Lizzo always gets me there.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of your business?
Probably travel, I miss Europe a lot.
What is one daring leap you’ve taken in your business?
I think deciding to go for it. I studied journalism in school and thought I’d work in publications and magazines and I never envisioned being an entrepreneur. I think just deciding to do it was really scary, but has paid off. It’s just been a process.
What is the best education you have learned from?
Hands on experience for sure. I have made a lot of mistakes, who hasn’t, but every time I do I feel like I’ve learned something and grown.
What is one thing you feel like you’re really great at in your business?
Building authentic relationships with clients. I wasn’t always great about this and I’m getting much better about it, but listening to my gut. When I first meet a client or potential client and I have to make sure I feel I want to work with them because it is such a close, personal relationship that I have with these women and men.
