February 2, 2022

EPISODE SUMMARY:

Today we’re so excited to have back Julie Bunkley of Invision Events. She joined us back last year at episode six of developing authentic relationships with her business partner, Courtney.

We’ll be diving deep into a concept that we have been learning all about the 18 month rule, and we cannot wait for you to hear all of the wonderful wisdom she has about planning long term in your business.

JULIE BUNKLEY OF INVISION EVENTS DARES YOU:

I dare you not to overanalyze what you’re doing. If you have made the decision to do something, do it. Stop analyzing it, and just keep true to that commitment until you have solid evidence that either it hasn’t worked, which is going to be at least 18 months later. More than likely, you’re going to see what benefit has come to it.

If you are able to commit to yourself and commit to your business, when you make a decision. Take it, go for it.

FAST FACTS ABOUT JULIE BUNKLEY OF INVISION EVENTS

What’s your favorite tool in business?:

Airtable is probably my favorite because it just works. Like it makes organizing online really easy, and I love it. It has a lot of different applications, so I get really nerdy about Airtable.

What’s your favorite post-wedding snack?:

Chicken fingers

What’s your favorite pump-up jam?

Usually when I’m in design mode, it’s going to be something a little bit mellow.  Maybe some recent Taylor Swift or something that’s pretty easy on the ears. But when I’m getting ready for a wedding day, I have a playlist on Spotify. I call it my girly playlist and it’s Carly Rae Jepsen and Betty Who, and I think there was a couple of other people on there, but I really love Carly Rae Jepsen.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of your business?

My husband and I make a hobby out of renovating our own house.

What is one daring leap you’ve taken in your business?

To bring Courtney on full-time and not because it was questionable on whether she was up to the job, that was never the question. It was more of a business structure work? Can we financially make this work?
