Submit and email the editors! Try to start a connection because that is in my mind the scariest thing. We can all submit in different ways but I think daring to submit and see if that relationship can be formed is the biggest dare.

Leaving the Knot. It was a huge part of my business and life, because it really did define so much and of who I was. It was terrifying and ultimately has paid off, but looking back now, it was a great idea. While I was in it, I was like, “Oh my gosh, what did I do?”

What is one thing you feel like you’re really great at in your business?
I’m good at connecting with people and because I want to get to know them. I want to get to know my clients. I want to know what makes them tick and their likes and dislikes, and I want to be their friend. Right.
